Warranty Information

1.  WARRANTY OVERVIEW

 Hornet Energy USA ("Hornet Energy") warrants that each Hornet Energy-branded battery (the "Battery"), sold by Hornet Energy or its authorized dealers, is free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ten (10) years from the original purchase date ("Warranty Period"), as verified by the sales receipt.

2.  ELIGIBILITY & REGISTRATION

 This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

To receive full coverage under this warranty, the Battery must be registered within 60 days of purchase at: www.hornetenergyusa.com/warranty-registration

If not registered within 60 days, the Battery will be covered for one (1) year only from the date of purchase.

 

3.  COVERAGE TERMS

 If the Battery is registered and found to be defective during the Warranty Period:

-  Years 0-5: Battery will be repaired or replaced free of charge (at Hornet Energy's discretion).

-  Years 6-7: A replacement Battery may be purchased at 50% of MSRP.

-  Years 8-10: A replacement Battery may be purchased at 75% of MSRP.

Replacements may include a Certified Refurbished Battery. The original purchase date remains in effect.

 

4.  SHIPPING & HANDLING

 -  Hornet Energy will provide packaging and coordinate return shipping to our facility.

-  Customer must prepay $300 to cover shipping and handling.

-  Hornet Energy covers return shipping within the U.S.

-  International customers pay costs beyond $300.

5.  WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

 This warranty does not apply to Batteries affected by:

-  Improper installation, loose connections, or unapproved configurations

-  Extreme temperatures, fire, or water exposure

-  Physical damage, excessive discharge, or tampering

-  Use with unapproved products or systems

-  Commercial overuse or neglect to recharge for over 12 months

6.  WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS

2.  Request and obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)

3.  Ship the Battery with RMA clearly labeled to:

7.  NON-WARRANTY REPAIRS

 Hornet Energy may offer repairs for out-of-warranty Batteries for a fee. An estimate will be provided before service.

8.  LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

 Hornet Energy's liability is limited to repair or replacement. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, shipping, installation, or personal injury. All implied warranties are limited to the Warranty Period.
